Helping A
Jacksonville Non-Profit

One of our non-profit clients has 3 servers in the cloud and we received a call one day when that cloud environment was not accessible. After contacting the cloud provider, we were informed that their servers were down and they would have them up as soon as possible. During this downtime, the CEO of the organization indicated to us that he wanted to change providers because he needed more reliability in their cloud environment.

After researching other providers, we were having trouble finding a provider that offered the security, reliability and support anywhere close to what they were paying for their current cloud environment. We decided to purchase the equipment necessary to provide our own cloud environment below their current costs. We obtained the “virtual machines” from the provider, converted the format to operate on our software and we now host their servers where we have full control of the environment in case there were ever any issues that needed our attention. This cloud environment has been hosting multiple cloud computers for more than 3 years.
